The Year of the Tiger comes in 2022 as the third year in the 12-year cycle of the Zodiac. The Chinese lunar calendar assigns an individual animal to each of the 12 years on the calendar, with each animal assigned a year by the Jade Emperor based on that animal's arrival to a meeting called by the Jade Emperor.
